Yusoh Pokemon RPG
Welcome to the World of Pokemon!
Hi, I'm Professor Hawthorn, leading expert in Pokemon from the Yusoh region. I work closely with the unique Pokemon from this region to find out more about them, and my work isn't done yet. I also give out Pokemon to budding new trainers so they can journey and learn just like me. You'll find me hard at work in my lab at RedBud, and I'm always pleased to see visitors!
Hey there, Nurse Joy here. I run the Pokemon Centre in Riveria City, to the south of RedBud Town. It's a beautiful place, with flowing streams and soft grass all around. I'm always happy to heal your Pokemon, and my cousins in the other towns and cities around Yusoh feel the same way. If they're tired and hurt, Chansey and myself will be pleased to help out.
Yo, Harry Dark speaking. You think you've got what it takes to defeat the Pokemon League and battle me? Haha! Gonna have to try harder than that, especially if you wanna win in the Yusoh Championships on Wire Island. If you can defeat me, you'll be crowned the official Yusoh Champion... but that's not happening any time soon. See you there.

There was a moment of silence as the cold wind blew through Neal ginger brown hair making a shiver run up his spine. The crisp air had died down for the battle had seem to come to and end. All that was left was this dragon and the rarest of all Pokémon Mew. Magby looked up at Neal followed by the Espeon the aura hosted above them started to fade as well as the gruffness from Salamence. Retrieving the ball from the physic fox, he look at it with a slight pause. Had what all happen today be real, or was it his mind playing tricks on him. If anything he was glad that he was still alive. Lady luck played her hand today, but to him it seem the price was his memory. For still no traces of his life before that strange dream came floating back. He had no idea what land this was are who where these men standing around him with guns. The only true feeling he felt was how it felt to be around Pokémon.
"Thank you" He said to the Espeon.
"As well as you little guy....you were great." patting the Magby on the head.
Holding up the Ultratball, Mew few off the dragons back and made it's way over to Ronan and Conrad. With a bright red beam of light the Salamence returned to its sphere with a look of peace in it's eye's. Picking up the young fire Duck, Neal and Haifa made there way over to Ronan.
Scout stopped at the forest clearing. He landed on the ground and surveyed the land for anything strange. "Nothing here" He said and hovered over to the orchards. "If I get into a battle I'll need some berries to build up my strength" Scout thought.
He began to search the orchards for any useful berries.

No harm. The human boy...meant...no harm? Blinking his eyes a few times, the Salamence let out soft growls and pawed the ground with his viciously clawed paws as the Mew tried her best to calm him down in addition to the Espeon's soothing aural transmissions.
Still, he fought back the influence, pride and anger burning within him as he bared his fangs at the boy; All around them, whichever soldier wasn't busy trying to corral the escaped fugutives had their rifles pointed dead sraight at this massive, unpredictable animal, their breaths harsh and bated as they watched for any sign of violence that would force them to down him by any means possible.
"Mag! Magbyyy!" The little fire duckling in front of Neal had a very determined look on his face, arms outstretched in a classic "You shall not pass!" pose, never mind the fact that he only just came up to the height of the boy's knees. The loud SNOAAAAARRR!!! that came next told of Salamence's disdain to the small beast's show of defiance when the sound of a flute playing suddenly caught his ears and made him feel oddly relaxed. He took several steps back from Neal, wondering just what the hell was happening, shaking his head violently to rid himself of this human.....trick. Was this a trick to lull him into subservience?
The flute's music persisted, and the Magby's gaze went up a new person who stood by Neal's side. She was a girl, just a year younger than he was. A tawny-brown face with sharp features framed by a deep velvet headscarf gave away most of her heritage, and she shared Lt.Hassan's eyes. The same deep- sea green, steely gaze which was now dead set on the Salamence who could no longer fight back the calming influence of the haunting serenade as well as the mental probing of the two Psychic Pokémon.
He stood perfectly at ease though still breathing heavily as a Pokeball, white and black in color with a gold trimming rolled towards Neal's legs from the direction of Ronan and Conrad who were crouched beneath a large fir tree not too far away. Haifa gently picked up the object in her mouth before dropping it into Neal's hands and gesturing towards the teal Dragon....

Damien fell back to the ground and looked at the Watchspring in astonishment. He pulled the empty PokeBall back out into his hand and enlarged it, "Alright, that was totally uncalled for, you little..." His mouth moved into a silent swear and stood back up, looking at the small Pokémon somewhat angrily and stared him down a little bit. He pulled another PokeBall from his belt and threw it, releasing Shuckey, "Come on, Roach, surround him. I don't want him getting out of here." The Shuckey nodded its head and went around the Watchspring.
Damien took the empty PokeBall and looked at his opponent, the small Watchspring, no doubt at the same level as his Pokémon. But he didn't want to attack it, because he found no point to it. "Come on, little guy. If you just stay in the ball then you won't have to get hurt. I promise you." He said, cocking his arm back and throwing it at the Watchspring.

"Thank you anyways ma'am" Ichiro said and walked out of the Pokémon center. He pulled Licky's pokeball from his pokeball bag and threw it into the air. A small round pink Pokémon appeared from a flash of light. "Ok Sushi, we have to find those watchsprings...um they are small brown Pokémon with fuzzy tails" He said.
"Anyways two heads are better than one, so we should split up and look for them" He said.

As Haifa landed into his chest, Neal, fell to the ground holding on to her. Hearing the words before he quickly turned to Magby,
"Use Ember on their tires, Don't let them get away!"
Upon that just like before Magby raced off as fast as his little paws would take him. When he was just shy enough away, he hurled himself into the air. Large yellow flames shot out of his mouth, oddly enough they where much bigger than the embers before. The smell of burnt melted rubber drifted over the air. Large skids of an uncontrollable vehicle followed close after. Summing up with intense crash fused with the sound of a massive tree cracking in the wake.
"Ha. Great Job Buddy" Neal Cried out as the little Magby raced back to him.
The ground cracked like thunder, make the little Pokémon near Neal shutter. A colossal ever green smashed smack dab in the middle of the enemies S.U.V. Neal however didn't care if they had met their if they where willing to kill for something that wasn't there's then they should have been willing to die for it just the same. Slowly he stood up. The violent display had the large dragon distracted for a moment. It was just enough time for Neal to return the young one to their pokeball.
"There you go little ones, your safe again." He said in a soft voice as the rest of the men raced off to the S.U.V pinned under the massive ever green. Stilling holding on to the Espeon Neal bent down to pick up another pokeball he didn't see before. Labeled in the middle was the name Magby. Looking down holding the ball up
"Now it's your turn."
Magby looked at Neal and shook his head,
MAG...MAGBY..MAG...MAG... MAGBY!
It was strange, it was just like the strange place he was in. On top of Mabgy hovered a bight sliver aura with a fine bright red line hovering in the middle. He had no idea what this meant but somehow he could feel what Magby was saying. He looked at him with a look of amazement on his face, for the Espeon in his arms started to glow as well. Just what was going on here. From what he felt he knew the Magby wanted to stay outside with him. A odd emotion washed over Neal. He didn't know how to describe it. ..but he knew it was the feeling he had been searching for. Just as he was about to reach out to pet him on the head, Neal's gesture was cut short a loud BOOM hit the ground looking up he saw the Large dragon and set foot in the snow, eyes narrowed at Neal. However Neal dint feel the raged it had had before. Could it see what Neal was seeing, or quite possibly could he feel what Neal was felling thanks to the Mew that was riding on his back. Slowly the Salamence stepped forward sniffing the air around Neal...

Damien nodded his head as the Professor gave his explanation. 'Alright, nothing suspicious 'bout that. Guess it's time to bid the good Professor farewell and head on out on my journey,' Damien thought once the Professor finished. "All right, then. Just curious. Well Professor, I'm outta here. I'll see ya' around." Damien said as he turned around to leave. Giving one final wave, Damien stepped out of the Lab into the freezing environment outside.
As Damien walked down the hill, he began to wonder as to what he should call his Pokémon. He heard that giving nicknames to one's Pokémon encouraged independence. 'Hmm, what to name my starter, what to name him. What about Sir Licks-a-lot. No, too long. Ah, I got just the name, Glutton. Yeah, Glutton sounds good.' thought Damien as he finally decided on a name. Taking out Glutton's Pokeball, Damien said, "Glutton, come on out." In a flash, the normal pre-evolved version of Lickitung appeared.
Giving his new Pokémon a once over, Damien smirked, kneeled down and said, "Hey there Glutton. The names Damien, and I'm your trainer. So, first things first. We should probably head on out to the first route, then try and get some new teammates and some battle experience under our belts." After his little speech, Damien picked the Pokémon up and headed towards the first route and the beginning of the rest of his life.

The Arcanine continued to describe the town's wonderful experiences with the Eternal Ice. "And so, now, it gives me great pleasure to introduce one of our newest, yet most accomplished, Guild members, Poochyena!" The audience applauded politely as the small canine took the stage. "Poochyena has the honor this year of making the journey to the Ancient Cave, to begin our fortunate new winter!"

The Whiscash swam around in a circle as you spoke. He nodded again. "Yup yup! I'm a very good swimmer! I can go farther underwater than Fire-types can." The Whiscash looked around. "It's very pretty where this coral is. Lots of crystal caves and pretty sands. The coral sings, too. It's magic!"
The Whiscash jumped up from the pond and landed on the grass next to you. "Before I go and help you, why are you looking for the pretty coral?"

Canopree City had a unique relationship with the forest: being built above it, not beside it, and living amongst the trees rather than cutting them down had allowed the Canopree-ites to live in peace and prosperity for a long time. It did not seem that that would change any time soon...but the forest was beginning to succumb to strange forces.
The first stop on your way into the forest was Canopree Clearing. This, the safest part of the forest, was administered by Canopree City, and contained several orchards full of berries, fences to protect the city from wild Pokémon, and even the homes of some of the city's more adventurous residents.
